Requirements

You are located within 60 miles of one of our hubs: Atlanta, Chicago or San Francisco
BA/BS or equivalent in accounting or related field
5+ years of corporate accounting experience with a combination of Big 4 Public Accounting and Industry, preferably in SAAS or high growth technology company
CPA a plus
Superior written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
Quick learner, ability to identify issues and resolve problems by applying critical thinking to complex accounting issues
Strong experience and knowledge in U.S. GAAP and internal controls
Experience with Netsuite ERP preferred
Strong Excel skills

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional business leaders to develop, document, and implement scalable accounting processes as well as SOX-compliant controls
Compile work papers and conduct Balance Sheet and P&L variance analysis
Manage complex accounting processes such as ASC842 lease methodology and capitalized software
Fully support and help drive initiatives to improve & operationalize processes, innovate, and help resolve cross-functional issues as part of the Finance and Accounting team
Assist in general corporate accounting matters and ad hoc projects or requests
Assist in external audit including preparing schedules and responding to audit inquiries

Our small but mighty accounting team is seeking a Manager of Corporate Accounting & Reporting with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude and a passion to drive process improvements and help us build a public company-ready organization. You will play a pivotal role in scaling the accounting function and have a meaningful impact. A successful manager in this role is someone who is a self-starter but unafraid to ask questions or make suggestions; someone who works collaboratively and is solution oriented; and someone who is excited to apply their accounting knowledge to a new challenge.

RESPONSIBILITIES
