The EVP will report directly to the CEO of SWBC’s Financial Institution Group and will be responsible for ensuring SWIVEL’s market leadership and operational excellence.

Essential duties include the following:
- Develops and implements the overall strategic vision for SWIVEL, aligning with SWBC’s broader goals.
- Identifies and evaluates new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive growth and innovation.
- Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the organization.
- Oversees the development and enhancement of payment products, services, and processes to ensure they meet market demands and company objectives.
- Ensures the efficient and effective operation of all departments, including product development, sales, marketing, and customer support.
- Implements robust operational procedures and policies to maintain high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Manages the financial performance of SWIVEL, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensures the profitability of the division by optimizing revenue streams and controlling costs.
- Reports regularly to SWBC senior leadership on financial performance, strategic initiatives, and operational status.
- Leads efforts to grow core payment-related revenue by identifying new business opportunities and expanding market share.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Directs the research and development of new payment technologies and enhancements to existing products.
- Monitors client utilization and satisfaction to ensure maximum product usage and integrity.
- Collaborates with marketing and sales teams to create effective campaigns and sales collateral.
- Manages relationships with key partners, including ODFI, debit and credit card processors, bill pay and account aggregation APIs, and other critical vendors.
- Ensures all partnerships align with SWIVEL’s strategic goals and contribute to the company’s success.
- Builds and leads a high-performing executive team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Provides mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Ensures all team members are knowledgeable about payment processes, products, and industry trends.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years in an executive leadership role within the payments industry or a related field.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability in a similar environment.
- Extensive experience in product development, sales, marketing, and financial management.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Deep understanding of payment processing technologies and industry trends.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and performance management.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Experience in the banking or credit union environment.
- Knowledge of financial institution lending and service operations.
