Requirements
  • A master's degree or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Business, Management, Administration, Human Resources, Supervision, Organizational Behavior/Studies, Industrial/Organization, Psychology, or Global Management.
  • Ability to work successfully in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and relevant position software programs at a proficient level.
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain student privacy and security in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to comply with college rules, procedures, guidelines, and laws governing public employees, including document retention, FERPA, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with students and faculty.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and deliver instruction in didactic, laboratory, and classroom settings.
  • Support college and departmental missions through quality instruction, curriculum enhancement, and timely service.
  • Collaborate with the Chair, faculty, and peers to evaluate, revise, and develop curriculum.
  • Demonstrate technological literacy and innovation in instructional delivery.
  • Assist with implementing college policies, objectives, functions, strategic initiatives, and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and collegewide committees as needed.
  • Provide students with frequent and timely assessment and clear feedback about academic performance.
  • Document student progress and maintain attendance, grading, and student learning outcome records.
  • Develop fair and accurate methods to assess student progress toward stated learning outcomes and objectives.
  • Maintain office hours proportionate to the instructional assignment.
  • Provide courteous, informed, accessible, and professional service to students and colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior teaching experience.
  • Ability to incorporate appropriate instructional technology into coursework.
  • Ability to be credentialed in various business disciplines.
