Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
  • 8 to 15 years of experience in instrumentation and controls
  • Professional Engineering license (PE) or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire date
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to mentor junior to intermediate staff and work with remotely located project team members
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Responsibilities
  • Will work with a multidisciplinary group of engineers and designers providing technical services to public and private-sector clients
  • Developing preliminary scope definitions, budgets, and staffing plans
  • Field review and evaluation of existing equipment, control systems (hardware and software) and control panels
  • Preparing studies, conceptual reports, and technical memorandums
  • Conducting I&C engineering and analyses related to various water, wastewater, and industrial waste treatment facilities
  • Developing construction documents (drawings, specifications, and schedules)
  • Construction support activities including review of Contractor and Supplier submittals, participation in construction site inspections, support of equipment and control system commissioning, start-up, and performance testing, and assistance with system troubleshooting
  • Marketing support activities including assisting marketing team with project pursuit strategies, presentation material development, presentation participation, and serving as I&C discipline subject matter expert
  • Travel 3-4 days per month
  • Maintain a safe working environment
