Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering within the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Strong understanding of design review processes and requirements management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
  • Track and manage design requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Organize and facilitate design reviews, including Design Criteria Review (DCR), Conceptual Design Review (CoDR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR).
  • Ensure that all team members design components in accordance with specified criteria, including single-use, multi-use, tracking engine life, and airframe life.
  • Act as a substitute for product management when needed, overseeing product development and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs and meet project deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to design criteria and review processes.
