Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in a test or infrastructure role, demonstrating technical leadership and innovation
  • Experience creating automated Software in the Loop (SITL) and Hardware in the Loop (HITL) tests for robotics or embedded products
  • Must be an expert in scripting languages such as Python and Bash
  • Strong experience working in a Linux environment, NixOS experience preferred
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g. Circle CI, Github Actions, Jenkins, etc)
  • In-depth knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN)
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
  • Establish test automation roadmap for all Tactical Reconnaissance & Strike (TRS) Robots (Altius, Ghost, Anvil, Bolt)
  • Lead a distributed team of engineers to design and build a comprehensive SITL and HITL testing framework
  • Coordinate deployment and management of HITL assets across multiple labs (ATL, HQ, SEA)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing best practices into the software development lifecycle
  • Build observability into the testing pipeline and ensure high availability of test resources
  • Partner with the SW Systems Engineering team to track and expand test coverage
  • Establish and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Provide expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Mentor and guide team members in test methodologies and best practices
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure the team stays current with industry trends
