Responsibilities
  • Representing JPO during F-35 Site Activation Activities (site-survey assessment, SATAF, etc.)
  • Participating in ALIS/ODIN related TEAMS meeting, both scheduled and unscheduled
  • Developing ALIS/ODIN related requirement documents and timelines for F-35 Site Activation (Hardware and ICS-ADMIN requirements)
  • Developing ALIS/ODIN related requirement timelines for F-35 Site Activation from procurement to Ready for Operation (RFO) in support of First Aircraft Arrival (FAA)
  • Maintaining continuous close coordination with the NAWC-AD WOLF team to ensure the as-designed and as-installed configurations meet the shipboard functional requirements for the F-35B/C
  • Working on ship architecture design changes required to support future MSK incremental tech refreshes
  • Performing shipboard pre-installation ship checks and post-installation inspections
  • Performing final fitting-out of the more ‘delicate’ installation segments (terminal cable grooming, fiber optic connections, rack shelf placements, etc.) for the Alteration Installation Team (AIT)
  • Writing procedure documents for the post-installation System Operational Verification Test (SOVT) for all ship classes
  • Researching, writing, and developing the supporting engineering documents
  • Submitting documents to the DoN and JPO Certified TEMPEST Technical Authorities (CTTA) the Protected Distribution System (PDS) design approval request for each CVN
  • Providing knowledge support for the PMW 160 AI SIT that gets the ATC to allow connection to the shipboard CANES networks
  • Providing information for GFE hardware options and ship installations to the AIT lead

  • Built many of the JSF ALIS/ODIN/NGMP ship briefs and individual slides that have become boilerplate baselines
  • Extensive Navy operations, maintenance, training and staff action officer background
  • 20 years active duty
  • E-2C Naval Flight Officer, TOPGUN graduate (air controller)
  • CVN Tactical Action Officer (TAO)
  • Performed two CVN PIAs
  • Information Systems (IS) administrator training division head at FCTCLANT
  • Commander, Fleet Forces Command (CFFC)
  • Global Force Management (GFM) Deployment scheduler
  • 15 years government civil service at NIWC Pacific working exclusively on JSF ALIS/ODIN ship implementation
