Intel’s Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation organization hires talented software engineers to develop, test, and support factory automation systems that enable Intel to manufacture leading edge semiconductors.

As a Software App Engineer Intern within TD ATA, you will partner with other software engineers on development and validation of quality reliable software systems.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Designing and developing applications, developing databases, providing data analysis and recommendations, enabling automated software testing, executing regression test cases, creating technical documentation.

This is a 2023 summer internship

Internship length is at least 3 months

Qualifications:

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research, relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:
Candidate must be actively pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related discipline

Minimum of 6 months of experience working with:

• Object Oriented Programming (e.g., C#, C++, Java)
• Microsoft or Linux operating systems
• Oracle or Microsoft database technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio, .NET)

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
