Requirements
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, charting, dashboards, and pivot tables.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, particularly collaboration in Google Sheets.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Technology, Statistics, or a related field, or four years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and maintain on-time deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently and manage obligations without direct supervision in a remote team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective communication across teams in multiple time zones.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly and pay close attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and account reporting for key meetings, including dashboards and charts.
  • Use syndicated point-of-sale data, panel data, and data portals as a primary analyst.
  • Refresh topline analysis for each data refresh period and identify sales patterns, areas for improvement, and market wins.
  • Prepare retailer-specific business reviews for line reviews, business development meetings, and top-to-tops.
  • Track the performance of key promotional events, in-store changes, and new item launches.
  • Partner with the business intelligence team to support data governance, troubleshoot the reporting database environment, and perform report data cleanup.
  • Support the Senior Manager of Category Insights with projects across other departments.
  • Develop subject-matter expertise in panel and point-of-sale metrics and recommend additional or different approaches to business questions.
  • Communicate data findings to Retail Sales Directors, Managers, and Business Developers; explain metrics and sources; and address questions and challenges.
  • Prepare training documents for end users who are not experts with the tools, dashboards, and metrics used by analysts.
  • Provide quality assurance across reports and data platforms.
  • Maintain confidentiality requirements for syndicated data sources.
  • Learn new data efficiencies, including formulas and artificial intelligence, to increase the depth of data available to the organization.
  • Attend key account and other sales meetings as needed.
  • Attend related webinars and conferences as requested.
  • Complete additional related projects as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with syndicated data, including SPINS and Numerator.
  • Familiarity with Google Gemini.
