- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- EIT Certification in Texas or Registered Professional Engineer in Texas required or can be acquired through reciprocity in Texas within six months of hire
- 3+ years of experience working in public works and/or municipal services projects
- 1+ year of experience working in water and sewer system planning and design, including water/wastewater treatment facilities (biological treatment systems, membrane treatment facilities, pump stations, and piping design)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of relevant CAD software; Civil 3D preferred
- Experience with Water Modeling Software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, or comparable) preferred
- Willingness and ability to work in one of our Central Texas offices (Austin or San Antonio) on a regular basis
- Support the design and engineering efforts of Water/Wastewater Treatment Facility Plants.
- Ideally some previous design engineering experience in water/wastewater treatment facilities (biological treatment systems, membrane treatment facilities, pump stations, and piping design)
- Experience with Water Modeling Software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, or comparable) preferred
