Requirements
  • Collaborate with faculty, residents, fellows, surgeons, and nursing staff to provide on-going patient care and management.
  • Partner with a larger team including Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care and Neurology to provide medical and perioperative care during critical illness.
  • Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice.
  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (for NP) and active board certification as NP in area of clinical practice (Acute Care only or Adult/Adult-Geriontology with ICU experience) or for PA active PA license including prescriptive authority and PA board certification; active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
  • State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure (minimum)
  • Active board certification as NP (for NP) or PA board certification (for PA)
  • Active NP/PA license and prescriptive authority in state of practice (if required)
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.

  • Advanced practice providers with experience or an interest in Neuroscience ICU (NSICU), acute care, neurocritical care, surgical ICU (SICU), and medical ICU (MICU) would succeed on this team.
