WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Tackle problems on the boundary of software, hardware, and the real world.
• Scale our endpoint management tools, network and AV infrastructure, on-boarding and off-boarding procedures, helpdesk request handling, identity and access management, and overall IT processes.
• Own build-outs and IT needs for our growing list of Forward clinics across the country.
• Own monitoring and maintenance for critical IT infrastructure, including equipment, access, license management, upgrades, patch management, and troubleshooting.
• Team up with our Security team to raise the bar on our IT security posture.
• Collaborate with top-tier leaders from places like Google, Amazon, Uber, and Airbnb to determine how IT can help solve our biggest technical issues.
• Your work will directly contribute to products and services that save and improve people’s lives. For real. :)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• You’re deeply mission-driven and you think there’s more to life than software that enables puppy ears to be superimposed on photos. Although we concede those are cute.
• You have a deep understanding of Identity and Asset Management solutions like Okta and Jamf; networking architecture and implementation; cloud infrastructure providers like AWS; Service Desk workflow/processes; Business Collaboration applications such as GSuite, Slack and Asana; A/V and VOIP solutions. 
• You are passionate about resolving root causes for issues, using APIs to connect applications, scripting to automate common tasks, and balancing business needs with employee satisfaction.
• You are an expert at working with cross functional teams, can deal with a lot of ambiguity and synthesize large amounts of information into a clear story that keeps everyone aligned.
• You’re a self-starter who loves to own things end-to-end. You don’t ask for permission - you’re too busy making things happen.
• Are you a tinkerer by nature who likes to mess around with computers, sound systems, or software hacking in your free time? You built a techno lights and sound system for your friend’s Christmas party? Boy have we got some fun things for you…
• You have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field with 2+ years in an IT role.
