Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of confirmed experience in financial management, with a focus on cloud operations, SaaS, pricing strategies, and portfolio management.
  • Confirmed experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, SaaS financial dynamics, and cloud pricing strategies.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to translate sophisticated data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software, Salesforce).
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for cloud cost optimization and financial management.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on cloud expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and financial goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to drive cost-saving initiatives and improve resource prioritization.
  • Build and maintain long-range financial models to forecast cloud business and assess the financial impact of different cloud strategies.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and provide insights into the financial implications of various cloud operational decisions.
  • Partner with the Product Management and Pricing teams to develop and implement outstanding pricing strategies and selling models.
  • Support the Sales, Renewals, and Deal Management Teams by developing tools and playbooks that insure best practices are followed.
  • Ensure effective tracking and reporting of customer usage via the development of dashboards and other tools.
  • Partner with Product Management, FP&A, and Engineering to build business cases and ROI analyses for all new engineering investments and New Product Introductions.
  • Conduct analyses on the existing portfolio to identify areas for improvement.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and training to finance and operational teams on cloud financial best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements related to cloud spend and operations.
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks for cloud financial management.
