Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the identified area of expertise.
  • Serves as SME, possessing in-depth knowledge on subjects relating to the conduct, activities, governance, business practices, or operation of USCYBERCOM
  • Ability to provide extensive technical knowledge and analysis of exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective development and implementation of solutions
  • Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems
  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Responsibilities
  • Serve as action officers for a specified region of responsibility, maintaining awareness of issues related to cyberspace security, strategy, policy, doctrine, plans, force development, and capabilities; report in writing significant developments to office and Command leadership as well as share with DoD and interagency colleagues when directed
  • Draft decision memos, briefing papers, and other papers on these topics in preparation for inter-agency and international meetings, and brief senior leaders
  • As directed, support USCYBERCOM partner development activities by organizing and participating in engagement activities that further DoD goals and objectives with international partners
  • Collaborate with USCYBERCOM J-Directorates and outside stakeholders to develop USCYBERCOM international partnerships and policy recommendations
  • Research and recommend policy changes to further DoD cyberspace international engagements
  • Provide training, outreach, technical assistance, and general program support to stakeholders to synchronize DoD cyberspace international security cooperation activities in support of cyber operations
  • Initiate and make recommendations to government leadership on international partnerships process changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness as well as on new product/service offerings to enhance support to the Command’s international partnerships
