Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years industry-related experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Preferred understanding of Encompass data system and other IT systems
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
  • Drive sales volume and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for each assigned ASL
  • Establish and maintain regular and on-going communication with retail partners/decision makers
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for all ASLs, CSRs and warehouse associates
  • Conduct new hire orientation and training of ASLs
  • Conduct route rides to train, develop, and evaluate the performance of the CSRs
  • Develop ASL’s ability to train established selling process
  • Conduct weekly ASL/CSR huddles/workshops in groups and 1 on 1’s
  • Recruit top talent and participate in hiring process of direct report positions
  • Conduct audits of inventory counts to ensure integrity of information
  • Manage or monitor inventory levels utilizing company processes
  • Review performance metrics and sales data daily
  • Work collaboratively across the organization and share best practices
  • Build a diverse organization that reflects the marketplace
  • Ensure the ASL team understands and adheres to Company standards and operating procedures
