The Department of Anthropology is inviting applications to teach a course in winter 2026. Please complete the online application form and upload required documents. ANTH 308 – Political Anthropology 01             
The study of political systems and political processes. Conflict and its resolution. The emphasis of the course will be on local-level politics and non-industrial societies.

January 5 – April 14, 2026:  Tuesday & Thursday (11:35 am – 12:55 pm)

Location: Trottier Building room 0070

Teaching Qualification Requirements:          
Education: MA required; Priority to holders of Ph.Ds. with specialization in relevant areas, or near completion of degree.

Experience: Priority will be given to candidates with relevant field research background and experience in teaching political anthropology.

This course will be taught by one instructor in-person.
