Requirements
  • Extensive experience working with Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS/SASS, React, and Jest
  • Extensive experience implementing and/or utilizing React component libraries
  • Extensive experience implementing against RestFul APIs and understanding of core RestFul API concepts
  • Understanding of browser resource caching
Responsibilities
  • design, develop, maintain, and support client applications built with React
  • support existing clients built using pure Javascript and other technologies
  • efficiently develop beautiful, intuitive frontend clients
  • set the vision for how we evolve our frontend technical stack and processes
  • collaborate closely with other engineers as well as Product Managers and UI/UX Designers
  • propose creative solutions
  • develop unit and acceptance tests
  • stay invested in new ways of tackling problems and creating efficiencies
  • mentor and inspire other engineers
  • produce maintainable code that balances many competing priorities while delivering for the customer
  • coach more junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and providing technical thought leadership
  • assume ownership over your areas of responsibility
  • advocate for improvements and push to keep systems updated to current standards
