Tucson Illegal Pete's is hiring for a Shift Leader!  Are you engaging?  FUN?  Want to make above-market wages?! We want YOU! Think full-bar, two levels with a bar on each level, events, amazing food, newly renovated patio, new kitchen equipment, and a ton of fun located on University Boulevard at the Main Gate of the University of Arizona!  Shift Leaders run the show when the AGM and GM are out of the building, focused on excellent customer service, serving delicious food, inspiring and developing their team, and maintaining best in class restaurant operations!  The ideal candidate is STOKED to be a part of music & events, building the bar business, and having a ton of fun!  

Shift Leads assume the responsibility for managing the restaurant when the AGM or GM are out of the building.

S1 - Running Great Front of House Shifts

Responsibilities:

• Follow Illegal Pete's preparations guide and ensure the food quality is at its highest possible level.
• Abide by all company policy.
• Come to work with a good attitude.
• Be willing to help out with any aspect of the store that is needed during your shift.
• Provide that food and beverage quality is at its highest level by knowing all preparation standards for all food and drinks.
• Be prompt and ready to work when you are scheduled.
• Communicate with Shift Supervisors, AGM or GM about improving the store or making your job better.
• Stay busy keeping your area as well as the entire restaurant clean and tidy.

MORE MONEY – $27.30 - $29.30 per hour including tips! 

We believe in paying a Living Wage and that’s why your base rate plus tips will allow you to make more than any other fast casual around. Base rate starting at $20.87 depending on experience, skill, and/or education. All in benefits and pay up to $74,000 per year!

Requirements of the job

• Create an atmosphere that celebrates individuality and relaxed human connection
• Deliver excellent guest service
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
• Certain other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable in a standard kitchen/restaurant environment
