  • BS or MS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial Engineering or similar Engineering field
  • Demonstrated ability in an industrial, manufacturing, automotive, robotics, or similar industry
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering components and an understanding of how they interact in a sophisticated electromechanical system
  • Demonstrated ability for developing efficient and reliable operating procedures and testing methodology
  • Capability to adapt, operate, and act decisively in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to understand and learn sophisticated technical systems
  • Strong communication skills (written/verbal), comfortable speaking across all organizational levels and departments to complex technical issues and topics
  • Experience using Python, C++, or other programming languages for test script development and implementation
  • Outstanding analytical and strategic problem solving skills; capability to take ambiguous technical problems and develop solutions
  • Lead root cause analyses on a variety of sophisticated issues, affecting hardware, integration, and the vehicle systems
  • Provide fully characterized HW issue analysis in order to support future design improvements
  • Proactively identify and drive improvements in process and design
  • Develop robust and scalable processes for engineers and technicians
  • Identify and develop processes and tools to continuously improve fleet issue management, uptime, and utilization
  • Analyze fleet data to proactively identify and mitigate fleet reliability issues
  • Drive HW integration test development to improve reliability of components
  • Write scripts to automate and validate component and vehicle level functionality for accelerated root cause analysis and bring up of trucks

  • Statistical analysis skills
  • Trucking, automotive, and/or autonomous industry experience diagnosing sensors, compute, electrical, CAN, or base vehicle OEM systems
