Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of managerial experience in the Food or Beverage Industry with proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving operational results.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams and driving a culture of engagement.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, costs, and reporting.
  • Proven expertise in planning, logistics, supply chain optimization, and vendor and contract management.
  • Experience working with blended products and high-speed packaging system management.
  • Knowledge of food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and HACCP.
  • Experience in operations management, including cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and financial, quality, and production performance management.
Responsibilities
  • Direct all daily plant operations across production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.
  • Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules and customer delivery targets are met efficiently.
  • Manage and coordinate activities across multiple shifts, departments, and functions, including production, quality, brewing, batching, engineering, facility and equipment maintenance, packaging, packaging maintenance, and warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, Business Development, Information Technology, and Accounting as needed.
  • Enforce health and safety protocols, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements, and ensure products meet quality control standards.
  • Set and communicate goals, standards, and policies for production operations and performance, safety, environmental compliance, lean manufacturing implementation, project management, and facility management.
  • Use lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
  • Manage the plant's operational budget, track key performance indicators, report performance metrics, and develop reaction plans for improvement for senior leadership.
  • Manage capital budget submissions, capital appropriations, and capital projects for production and facilities.
  • Participate in capital and operating budget planning.
  • Develop staff's understanding and use of financial, quality, and production performance data.

  • Experience with FDA and USDA requirements.
