Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, criminal justice, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in transportation security or logistics security operations.
  • Understanding of Environment, Health, and Safety as it relates to supply chains.
  • Knowledge of ISO 28000, ISO 31000, ISO 17712, and ISO 27002.
  • Ability to formulate action plans for process improvement initiatives, including complex data analysis.
  • Understanding of inventory management and reconciliation principles.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities with little supervision.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively participate within and/or lead cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to multitask and organize workload for effective implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct transportation security and logistics risk assessments across routes, carriers, and facilities.
  • Lead operations planning and manage execution of transportation and logistics security plans.
  • Coordinate and manage vendor resources, including movements and schedules with third-party providers, to support supply chain operations, warehousing, and shipping logistics.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support logistics security operations.
  • Oversee shipment preparation and receipt processes to ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring and incident and event response for in-transit shipments.
  • Maintain chain-of-custody integrity across logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with the broader security team to support and maintain a global operations support model.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and industry standards, including C-TPAT, TAPA, and customs regulations.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for shipment handling, incident reporting, and emergency response.
  • Conduct post-incident analysis and reporting, including root-cause identification and corrective-action recommendations after theft, loss, or security breaches.
  • Track and analyze security metrics and key performance indicators, including incident rates and on-time delivery with security compliance, to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support vendor and third-party provider vetting and performance reviews to ensure providers meet security standards.
  • Assist with training and awareness programs for staff and partners on chain-of-custody procedures and security best practices.
  • Maintain and update GPS and tracking technology systems used for shipment monitoring and real-time cargo visibility.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and local authorities during theft, hijacking, or other in-transit security incidents.
  • Contribute to business continuity planning for supply chain disruptions, including weather events, geopolitical issues, and labor strikes.
  • Participate in after-action reviews and continuous-improvement initiatives for the global logistics security program.
  • Provide additional logistics security operations support as business needs require.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • CPP and PSP certifications.
  • Knowledge of loss prevention, asset protection, or intellectual property protection.
  • Understanding of governmental supply chain security programs, including AEO, NEEC, PIP, WCO, TAPA, and C-TPAT certification.

Securitas establishes Security Risk Management unit and makes changes to Group Management. Securitas continues to strengthen its position as a trusted partner in intelligence-led security by establishing a new business line, Security Risk Management (SRM). 20 March 2026 12:00 SRM is an end-to-end, intelligence-led approach to identifying, understanding, monitoring and acting on risks specific to each client. It enables proactive security, faster crisis response and adaptive security programs for clients, leveraging Securitas' unique ability to integrate physical and digital security, and is an engine for future growth for Securitas. Structurally, this brings together Pinkerton, the recently acquired open-source intelligence and threat-intelligence company Liferaft, and Securitas' existing Risk Intelligence unit under the leadership of Matt Ellis, who is appointed President Security Risk Management and member of Group Management. At the same time, Securitas combines the development of its digital platform and AI capabilities with the IT organization, under the leadership of Hillevi Agranius, Group CIO and member of Group Management. Together, SRM and the digital platform form the strategic engine of an intelligence-led model: SRM connects insights to action, and the digital platform is the infrastructure through which it is delivered.
