Requirements
  • At least 12 years of experience in international development, localization, foreign assistance, or a related field
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience with G2G assistance and programming
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: Sustainability and Locally Led Development, Partner government capacity, effectiveness, and accountability, Anti-corruption efforts, The influence of the People’s Republic of China, Global Health Priorities (including PEPFAR, PMI, and Global Health Security)
  • Experience working with USAID and knowledge of USAID rules and regulations
  • Experience working directly and liaising with USAID Mission Staff and/or other stakeholders (civil society organizations, the private sector, etc.)
  • Experience conducting key informant interviews
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work with Google and Microsoft-based platforms
  • Strong oral and communication skills
  • Ability to travel for up to 2-3 weeks
Responsibilities
  • Conduct desk research, interviews, literature reviews, and surveys
  • Liaise and meet with USAID/Washington, the Africa Bureau, partner governments, and/or other relevant stakeholders and donors.
  • Review and make recommendations regarding meeting questions
  • Analyze information collected and draft final deliverables, including the final report and best practices guide, and other similar documents including case studies
