Responsibilities
  • Manage the Electrical and Instrumentation Quality Assurance and Quality Control program for all divisions.
  • Select, coordinate the assignment of, and manage E&I quality personnel who perform audit, inspection, surveillance, and testing activities for projects executed within the division.
  • Interpret contract quality requirements to establish inspection, testing, and quality service activities for projects.
  • Interface with corporate advisors for technical support in electrical, instrumentation, documentation, and other quality-related practices and applications, while keeping the corporate advisors informed of issues, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly reports to divisional and corporate management on quality-related challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide training to division and project personnel on implementation of the quality control program and maintenance of quality-related documentation, data, and records.
  • Assist project and construction management and project quality teams in troubleshooting and following through on reported quality issues.
  • Monitor, maintain, and report E&I quality metrics to the corporate quality team.
  • Attend and participate in periodic corporate quality status and quality program improvement meetings.
  • Coordinate third-party testing agencies performing E&I-related services to support projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Walk the property and laydown yards as part of the physical requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • One or more Master Electrical Licenses.
