Responsibilities
  • Own partner relationship management.
  • Own onboarding and implementation.

  • Own client relationships from onboarding through account expansion, ensuring partners unlock full value from products by aligning the technology with their evolving needs.
  • Provide go-to-market insights on user propositions, communication strategies, and market positioning.
  • Manage post-implementation client relationships after go-live, drive continuous improvement, and identify opportunities to deepen engagement or grow accounts.
  • Act as a conduit between partners and engineering teams, creating fast, structured feedback loops that translate field insights into product enhancements.
  • Create scalable processes and design scalable products across diverse customer segments.
  • Make data-driven decisions and improvements internally and externally.

Axle Energy provides a software platform that connects distributed home energy assets with European electricity markets. It helps energy suppliers and hardware manufacturers tap into the flexibility of assets like electric vehicles, home batteries, and heat pumps so they can participate in demand-side response and other grid services. The platform aggregates and optimizes these assets to monetize flexibility, creating new revenue streams for partners while helping lower energy costs and reduce carbon emissions for end consumers. It uses an API-driven approach with white-label solutions to simplify integration and onboarding for customers, enabling easy deployment across different markets. Axle Energy aims to support grid decarbonization and a more stable, affordable power system by expanding the use of flexible distributed energy resources in Europe.

Accel backs Axle Energy's $25M Series A led by Energize Capital

In the dynamic European climate tech landscape, a wave of enthusiasm is building around pioneering startups that are blazing new trails toward sustainability. These companies are not only pushing the boundaries of technology but they are also driven by a mission to address the challenges of climate change, propelling us toward a more sustainable future.For those interested in staying up to date with the latest innovations, the question arises: amidst the vast array of over 30,000 climate tech startups active in this space, which truly stands out? To answer this, we turned to those in a privileged position— the prominent investors and VCs that are most active in this space.With all those conversations with founders and their teams, the due diligence done on the most promising startups, and in some cases, also the investments made, they are, therefore, certainly more informed about what’s happening in the market than most of us.Here, we’ve sought the insights of those specialising in climate tech investments – from the energy transition and the circular economy to sustainable and food production but also climate fintech and the blue economy.
