Requirements
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and labor planning.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, coach performance, and build a positive culture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Comfort working in varying temperature environments, including coolers, freezers, and kitchens.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the store's natural supplements and health and beauty operations, focusing on meeting customers' health-related needs.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience while driving sales, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring the department is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for customers seeking natural health products, vitamins, supplements, and wellness solutions.
  • Work closely with vendor partners to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize inventory shrink.
  • Keep up to date with wellness trends and ensure that Totum Market has a timely and relevant product set.
  • Maintain department conditions, including cleanliness, organization, signage, and product presentation.
  • Support labor planning, scheduling, and real-time labor adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration policies, Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act regulations, and company policies.
  • Resolve operational issues quickly to maintain service levels.
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and ongoing development of department team members.
  • Analyze daily and weekly reports to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions.
  • Serve as Manager-on-Duty as needed.
