Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and labor planning.
- Proven ability to lead teams, coach performance, and build a positive culture.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Comfort working in varying temperature environments, including coolers, freezers, and kitchens.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the store's natural supplements and health and beauty operations, focusing on meeting customers' health-related needs.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience while driving sales, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring the department is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Serve as a trusted resource for customers seeking natural health products, vitamins, supplements, and wellness solutions.
- Work closely with vendor partners to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize inventory shrink.
- Keep up to date with wellness trends and ensure that Totum Market has a timely and relevant product set.
- Maintain department conditions, including cleanliness, organization, signage, and product presentation.
- Support labor planning, scheduling, and real-time labor adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration policies, Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act regulations, and company policies.
- Resolve operational issues quickly to maintain service levels.
- Assist with training, onboarding, and ongoing development of department team members.
- Analyze daily and weekly reports to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as Manager-on-Duty as needed.
