- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to read a blueprint.
- Must have a basic understanding of measurements, mathematics, and mechanical skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must pass the company's employment screening requirements, including a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check if driving for the company.
- Must be able to repetitively lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, and standing for 8–10 hours per day.
- Spot and direct heavy equipment operators, including track hoes and loaders, from the ground during excavation operations.
- Operate small equipment such as a skid steer loader.
- Cut and thread steel pipe and assist with fitting and installing underground and above-ground tanks.
- Assist the foreman with shooting grades and documentation.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site as directed by the foreman.
- Ensure that signs, safety barricades, and safety devices are in place.
- Comply with all safety requirements, including using the proper personal protective equipment for the task.
- Ensure that all tools are accounted for, cleaned, and organized on the truck or job trailer.
- Keep job inventory accurate.
- Work after hours as required.

Goodson is an established general contractor serving the petroleum equipment industry, headquartered in Midland, Texas, that also provides maintenance repair and compliance testing services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
