The platform is free for diners, allowing them to find and book tables at their favorite restaurants. Restaurants benefit from OpenTable by paying a subscription fee to be listed and may incur additional charges based on the number of reservations made. This dual revenue model provides a steady income for OpenTable, which is part of Booking Holdings, giving it a strong market presence. The goal of OpenTable is to enhance the dining experience for users while helping restaurants manage bookings and optimize their seating capacity.
