Helm.ai focuses on developing AI technology for autonomous driving, utilizing a method called unsupervised learning. This approach allows the AI to learn from unlabelled data, making it more cost-effective and efficient compared to traditional methods that rely on large amounts of labeled data. Helm.ai licenses its technology to various clients, primarily in the autonomous vehicle sector, but also in industries like aviation, robotics, manufacturing, and retail. This positions the company as a significant player in the growing autonomous vehicle market. Recently, Helm.ai secured $13 million in funding to enhance its technology and expand its client base, generating revenue through licensing agreements that likely include upfront fees and ongoing royalties.
