Mount Pleasant sees grocery store conversion into elite design showroom.

Mount Pleasant sees grocery store conversion into elite design showroom. * March 25, 2026 * Deals After a grocery anchor closed at the Shoppes at Seaside Farms, ownership rethought how to fill the space in a competitive retail market. Instead of replacing it with another grocer, the team repositioned the space to create a more stable, long-term draw. Construction Resources seized the opportunity, announcing a flagship show room in Mount Pleasant set to open later this year in the former Harris Teeter space. Designed by ASD | SKY and The Collab and built by Winter Construction, the showroom will feature high-end kitchen, bath and home products for homeowners, builders and designers. The project transformed a vacant anchor into a luxury showroom, helping stabilize the center and support surrounding tenants. It was recognized as the CoStar Impact Award winner for Lease of the Year in Charleston. Jeff Yurfest, partner and senior vice president at TSCG, along with brokers Tyler Freeman of TSCG and Carlmichael Harrison of Beach Commercial, represented ownership in the transaction. CBRE First Vice President Reeves Major represented the tenant. Full Article by Costar here.
