  • Building, leading, and growing partner ecosystems, shaping joint customer solutions and designing growth strategies, as well as possessing a deep understanding of the enterprise cloud and SaaS market
  • Operating within SaaS ecosystems and marketplaces, including a strong understanding of current marketplace designs
  • Leading and motivating diverse and remote teams, as well as data-driven problem solving, analytical, communication, and product positioning skills
  • Communicating annual plans with executive leaders with the ability to execute against business goals while managing a partner pipeline that is continually evolving with BetterUp's business and customer needs
  • Collaborating with field leadership teams to deliver repeatable partnerships that add value to our customers, identify incremental customer opportunities and assist in current sales pursuits where directed by the customer or sales teams
  • Achieving quarterly ecosystem business goals (e.g., partnerships, incremental business growth, solution launches, etc.)
  • Building an exceptional organization where the quality and productivity of partner management and GTM are best-in-class
  • Representing the partner relationships across key channels, and ensure that commitments are met and that we are mutually investing in success

  • The ideal candidate must have 5 plus years experience in building partnerships, alliances, ecosystems, or business development in HCM or CRM industries, spanning multiple types of partners and models
  • Demonstrable ability to build and grow channels, ecosystems, and marketplaces where SaaS products and services are offered
  • Highly skilled and experienced at negotiating with large and medium sized organizations to close complex, multi-year partnership contracts
  • Must be a team player who is goal-oriented and confident, with aptitude to work both independently and also have the desire to lead, build and inspire high-performing teams. This individual must demonstrate an ability to get things done, build consensus, resolve conflict, and solve tough business problems, working cross-functionally
  • Ability to create and execute a long-term strategy while maintaining weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tracking metrics
  • The successful candidate will be adaptable and flexible, able to work and thrive in an environment that is evolving and rapidly growing
  • Consulting experience is not required but preferred

  • The mission of BetterUp's Alliances team is to accelerate the sales motion by creating partnerships that generate awareness, proprietary value, and competitive advantages in the buying process. The Director, Strategic Partnerships will design and develop our global partner ecosystem across HCM, CRM, ERP platforms, provide leadership for a collaborative, high-performing alliances organization, and inspire, empower and motivate the team to execute on BetterUp's growth initiatives
  • This leader is responsible for the design, development and execution of BetterUp's growing ecosystem in order to grow the value and impact of BetterUp. This role is expected to lead the Alliances' engineering, operations, and design teams; and collaborate with the sales team, marketing team, services team, and enablement team to build a fully integrated partner strategy and ecosystem
  • The successful candidate will be a multi-dimensional thinker who operates not only on the basis of important past experiences in developing partnerships and alliances with leading HCM, CRM, and ERPs, but explores new approaches to engage and activate new audiences. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in::
