Eurovent announces the release of its latest Guide on Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for Air Filters, providing practical guidance on assessing and communicating the environmental performance of air filtration products. The guide establishes a consistent approach for developing EPDs for air filters, supporting improved transparency and comparability across the HVAC industry. It addresses the growing demand for reliable environmental data and helps stakeholders better understand the lifecycle impacts of filtration solutions. As sustainability requirements continue to increase across the HVAC sector, the need for reliable and comparable environmental data has become essential. Air filters play a dual role in ensuring high indoor air quality while influencing the energy consumption of ventilation systems. The new guide addresses this complexity by providing clear recommendations on how to develop and interpret EPDs specifically for air filters.
