SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules on a daily or weekly basis to meet goals. Takes stock of inventory levels and facilitate providing the necessary information regarding materials and components. Coordinate customer shipments with shipping department.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supply chain management
- Oversee Production Planning
- Forecasting
- Manage finished goods and WIP inventories to target levels
- Review weekly production schedules to maximize efficiency
- Servicing internal/external customers
- Communicate daily with supervisors/managers regarding completions, capacity, and product availability
- Monitor work order start dates and raise awareness of any order not started on time
- Provide support as needed for a 24/7 365 manufacturing plant.

EDUCATION:
Required: Associates Degree
Preferred: Associates Degree
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 5+ years exp. managing scheduling functions.
SKILLS:
Must Have:
- An absolute commitment to safety.
- Problem solving and general troubleshooting skills.
- Solid computer skills with Microsoft office.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Excellent organizational skills.
