Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar hotel operational role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with hotel systems, including point-of-sale, property management, and customer relationship management platforms.
  • Knowledge of hotel and resort policies regarding guest activities and excursions.
  • Ability to swim.
  • Experience with hospitality operations, including emergency evacuation drills, water sports, and recreational facilities.
  • Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
  • Focus on the rejuvenation of the Experience Department.
  • Assess and review products and services to keep them relevant, innovative, and aligned with wellness and sustainability practices.
  • Regularly review adherence to LQA standards through physical presence in the department.
  • Inspect the Experience Department regularly and ensure maintenance and product improvements are completed within the designated timeframe.
  • Lead a team of engaged and experienced hosts to provide exceptional service standards.
  • Plan the business operations of the Experience Department.
  • Manage monthly inventory.
  • Follow property pricing guidelines.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the property.
  • Ensure guest history profiles are updated.
  • Deliver crafted experiences for guests and foster a desirable workplace for hosts.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance, grooming, hygiene, safety, security, and emergency procedures for the manager and all hosts in line with brand and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication between departments to support smooth property operations.
  • Work with marketing, sales, and public relations to develop strategies and tactics supporting revenue generation and profile-raising initiatives documented in the marketing plan.
  • Ensure Experience Department activities are conducted ethically, honestly, and within local law.
  • Revise and control the department's operational budget, monitor and control costs, and drive profitability while preserving required standards.
  • Conduct forecasting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually to ensure budgets are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare and submit legally required and confidential operational documentation.
  • Complete corporate reporting requirements accurately.
Desired Qualifications
  • A hospitality diploma or degree from a recognized hospitality school.
  • Experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel with proven results.
