We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our team and lead our efforts in securing our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of cloud security best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud architectures to protect our systems and data. This role will report to the Manager of Information Security.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement security strategies for our cloud infrastructure
- Evaluate and recommend security controls and solutions to mitigate identified risks and threats
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle
- Conduct security assessments and audits of our cloud infrastructure
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures
- Manage and monitor cloud security incidents and investigations
- Participate in incident response activities as needed
- Stay current with emerging cloud security threats and trends
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the security team
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud security engineering or a related field
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies
- Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and technologies including AWS and Terraform
- Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and web applications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security

This role will receive a competitive base salary, benefits, and equity. The applicable salary range for each US-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers based on the cost of labor for that geographic area. The expected salary ranges for this role are set forth below.
Tier 1: $144,500 - $178,500
Tier 2: $130,050 - $160,650
Tier 3: $115,600 - $142,800
