Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • At least five years of progressive marketing experience is required.
  • At least two years of leadership, project management, or team oversight experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, branding, public relations, content development, and analytics is required.
  • Experience managing vendors, agencies, and external partners is required.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, customer relationship management platforms, marketing software, and analytics tools is required.
  • A valid California driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies supporting organizational growth, brand awareness, service-line expansion, and community engagement.
  • Translate executive vision into measurable marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Establish marketing key performance indicators, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to increase organizational visibility, referral partnerships, and community impact.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives align with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain and strengthen brand integrity across Pacific Health Group entities and affiliated organizations.
  • Develop and enforce brand standards, messaging frameworks, tone-of-voice guidelines, and visual identity guidelines.
  • Oversee creation of marketing collateral, presentations, advertisements, social media content, videos, print materials, and promotional assets.
  • Ensure consistent branding across digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Support positioning and growth of affiliated brands while maintaining organizational alignment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, managed care organizations, community-based organizations, educational institutions, workforce development agencies, and strategic partners.
  • Represent Pacific Health Group at networking events, conferences, community meetings, health fairs, and public engagement opportunities.
  • Coordinate community outreach initiatives that increase awareness of Pacific Health Group services and programs.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen referral relationships and community partnerships.
  • Support volunteer initiatives, sponsorships, and community impact programs.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador throughout San Diego County and surrounding communities.
  • Oversee digital marketing, including website management, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, email marketing, social media management, marketing automation, and online advertising.
  • Monitor digital performance and optimize campaigns to improve engagement and return on investment.
  • Manage content calendars, publication schedules, and communication strategies.
  • Develop and oversee organizational newsletters, email campaigns, and digital communications.
  • Ensure communications are accurate, compliant, audience-focused, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop and manage public relations strategies that enhance organizational visibility and reputation.
  • Coordinate media opportunities, press releases, interviews, and community announcements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and community influencers.
  • Support executive leadership with public-facing communications and speaking opportunities.
  • Assist with reputation management and crisis communication efforts.
  • Manage marketing projects from concept through execution and completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and implementation schedules.
  • Coordinate multiple initiatives while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
  • Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions.
  • Ensure efficient use of marketing resources and budget allocations.
  • Manage relationships, contracts, deliverables, timelines, and performance expectations for marketing vendors, agencies, consultants, photographers, videographers, graphic designers, and advertising partners.
  • Ensure external partners meet organizational standards for quality, professionalism, and compliance.
  • Coordinate internal and external events from planning through execution.
  • Support conferences, leadership speaking engagements, networking events, health fairs, ribbon cuttings, and community initiatives.
  • Manage event logistics, promotional materials, registrations, vendor coordination, and communications.
  • Measure event outcomes and identify opportunities for future growth and engagement.
  • Maintain marketing dashboards and reporting systems.
  • Track campaign performance, engagement metrics, referral growth, digital performance, and community outreach outcomes.
  • Analyze marketing data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare executive-level reports summarizing marketing activities, results, and strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with Operations, Revenue Cycle, Human Resources, Behavioral Health, Community Programs, Member Services, and Executive Leadership.
  • Coordinate organizational initiatives supporting growth, community impact, workforce development, and brand awareness.
  • Facilitate communication among internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, managed care, public health, behavioral health, or other regulated industries.
  • Healthcare marketing experience.
  • Experience working with community-based organizations and healthcare providers.
  • Experience supporting multiple brands or service lines.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant marketing practices.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva, WordPress, Google Analytics, and marketing automation platforms.
