Innotech Summer Undergraduate Internship 2025

Position Summary

This program is an 11-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.

The summer internship program is from May 28 – August 8, 2025. 

CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. 

Our office location for this role is Scottsdale, AZ. A housing stipend may be provided, based on eligibility, and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. The hourly rate is $23.00 per hour, with 40 hours per week, July 4th off (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Please disregard the range listed below.

About the Business Area  

We are part of the Financial Solutions organization, where we develop, support, and maintain the technology assets essential for our finance partners.

We are responsible for the overall design, architecture, and integration of all processes and systems within our broader Pharmacy Services financial ecosystem to eliminate manual/inefficient processes and replace with well-designed technology solutions.

In partnership with their counterpart of the Finance executive leadership team, this organization has ownership for the following key areas:

• Underwriting/Client Contracting

• Trade/Trade Finance

• Finance/FP&A

• Rebates Operations

What you will do  

You will be part of the engineering team that values collaboration and encourages innovative thinking at all levels and deliver innovative solutions to business problems by collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and agile environment. You will be intellectually challenged to solve problems associated with large scale complex, structured and unstructured data, that will allow you to grow your technical skills and engineering expertise.

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

Required Qualifications
• Meet Education Requirements (see Education section)

• Familiarity with any Programming language (i.e. Java, Python, SQL, Angular, etc.)
• Basic understanding of software development principles
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipeline, and other DevOps principles/best practices
• Ability to design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership experience (e.g., student organizations, sports, or work-related projects)

• Experience leading a project at school or work

• Internship or work experience in a related field

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)

• An interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation

• Experience/knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and be proactive

• Any course completion certificates

Education

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026

• Preferred majors include Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering
