Aleph is redefining the world of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). We operate in an established software category with a multi-billion TAM but no clear winner. We’re here to change that, and our early results are self-explanatory.

Aleph was founded by Albert Gozzi and Santiago Perez De Rosso, two technical founders with backgrounds from Stanford and MIT and experience working at top-tier companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Bain & Company. We’re backed by top VCs (Bain Capital Ventures, Khosla Ventures, YC, Picus Capital), and work with customers like Turo, Notion, Zapier, and others.

What we’ve built so far is the most seamless way to centralize all of a company’s financial data – think expenses from Quickbooks or Netsuite, pipeline forecasts from Salesforce – and bring it into the tools finance teams are already using. But the vision goes way beyond that. We’re building the source of truth for a business’ data, and ultimately the platform businesses use to make better decisions.

We’re way ahead of schedule due to our unique approach, with barely any churn and rapid growth despite no marketing spend to date.

We are hiring remotely across the Americas (Canada, LATAM, United States).

🔍 What we’re looking for

As Chief of Staff at Aleph, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our future by offering direct support to our CEO and leadership team, driving strategic initiatives, and collaborating with different teams as needs arise. We’re looking for a generalist that is able to alternate between spotless execution and high-level, strategic analysis.

This role is for you if you’re looking to get broad exposure to all business functions in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

👷 What you’ll be doing

• Work alongside our CEO and the leadership team on strategic projects

• Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve operational excellence and contribute to our effort to continuously streamline and automate all internal processes

• Contribute to company-wide internal and external communications

📝 About you

• 2-3 years of experience in management consulting

• 1-2 years of experience in a high-growth startup or dynamic environment, preferably in Business Operations, Strategy, or a Chief of Staff role

• You are detail-oriented and pride yourself on your exceptional organizational skills. You can handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality

• You are passionate about automation and proactively seek to streamline and improve processes to avoid repetitive manual tasks

• You have a low ego and are ready to tackle any task, big or small. The prospect of presenting to our board and booking a hotel for a team offsite on the same day excites you

• You are a spreadsheet ninja and have enough of an understanding of SQL and Python to get around with the help of tools like ChatGPT

• You value direct communication and are willing to challenge the status quo, embrace change, and both coach and be coached

💰 Compensation

For candidates residing within the United States, the anticipated salary ranges from $115,000 - $175,000. In addition to salary, we offer competitive equity packages. 

Actual compensation is determined by many factors, including location.

While this is a remote-first opportunity, we’re focusing on candidates within the Americas to better align with our working hours as a team.
