Requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others.
  • Willingness to learn and develop computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other programs.
  • An Associate Degree is required.
  • For the Intermediate Professional classification, 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required; for the Professional classification, no prior relevant work experience is required.

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • The position requires a Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
Responsibilities
  • Recruit participants.
  • Coordinate visit scheduling and consent form completion.
  • Collect and process data from participants.
  • Prepare and process materials needed for each research visit.
  • Attend laboratory meetings, team meetings, and trainings.
  • Serve on designated committees within the study when appropriate.
  • Conduct behavioral assessments of infant and early childhood development.
  • Collect electroencephalogram data with infants and young children.
  • Collect biological samples and support magnetic resonance imaging data collection.
  • Work directly with participants and their families through phone calls, email exchanges, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Perform evening and weekend work as needed to complete the study’s goals.
