Responsibilities
  • Proactively initiate, pursue, and foster highly complex new agri-business relationships with high impact and revenue potential by employing strategic and targeted prospecting techniques.
  • Develop and execute multifaceted sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals while fostering long-term relationships with existing and prospective high-revenue clients.
  • Engage with centers of influence and high-value relationships to cultivate meaningful connections through insightful conversations and perspective sharing.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor by offering expert guidance on products, services, and applicable risk-management solutions to enhance client relationships.
  • Analyze intricate financial data and craft and present tailored financial solutions.
  • Negotiate and establish terms for agri-business banking relationships while adhering to internal policies and guidelines.
  • Apply exceptional credit judgment to evaluate complex credit risks associated with prospective and existing clients.
  • Present comprehensive credit proposals and collaborate with credit teams on prudent risk management, credit quality, and optimal loan performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and events that impact clients, identify growth opportunities, and monitor competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate frequently with internal stakeholders to leverage products and services aligned with clients' financial needs and objectives.
  • Implement cross-selling strategies to earn customers' entire financial relationships and enhance client satisfaction and success by partnering with multiple business lines to present comprehensive solutions.
  • Attend pertinent loan, team, and business-development meetings and contribute to decisions affecting the Agri-Business Banking Department.
  • Act in accordance with First Bank & Trust policies and procedures set forth in the employee handbook.
  • Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
