Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, with Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a direct, on-site manufacturing or machining leadership role, preferably in a power manufacturing or machining environment.
  • Direct involvement and leadership in project management, process engineering, and customer engagement.
  • Experience with other original equipment manufacturer generator turbine businesses.
  • Fluency in English and the ability to communicate effectively at executive levels.
  • The ability to drive sales and generate new business within a large, complex, and multinational business environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement machining, welding, engineering, and supply chain strategies aligned with company-wide strategy.
  • Direct and support Operations leadership and stakeholders in executing strategic plans.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and external resources to meet company goals.
  • Build and sustain customer relationships and partner with Sales and divisional leaders to close orders.
  • Coach and mentor staff while encouraging sound decision-making, enterprise-wide collaboration, and ownership.
  • Ensure safety and quality meet company and industry standards and maintain environmental, health, and safety compliance programs.
  • Lead strategic evaluations and initiatives aligned with short- and long-term business objectives, cost targets, and operational excellence.
  • Assess divisional performance, capacity utilization, geographic advantages, supply chain integration, labor and material costs, and operational risks.
  • Ensure staffing, development, organizational structure, material availability, capital expansion, product development, and facilities plans align with company strategy.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on Operations projects and systems.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement processes, technologies, and systems to improve organizational processes and resource and material utilization.
  • Establish and manage the Division operating budget.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks affecting cost, quality, and product or service delivery.
  • Collaborate with Finance on standard costs, forecasting, and capital projects for Division services.
  • Collaborate with leadership on demand and supply planning to optimize operational schedules.
  • Identify and secure domestic and international customer relationships to drive revenue growth.
  • Participate in industry associations and events to build professional networks and monitor market trends.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products, services, pricing structures, and delivery methodologies.
  • Forecast sales, customer activity, and anticipated revenue for strategic planning.
  • Provide strategic direction and support for customer relationship management, value delivery, and growth opportunities.
