Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience managing engineering managers and 5+ years managing teams of 20 or more members.
  • Proven experience in ad tech, including expertise in targeting, measurement, ad serving, ad platforms, and understanding of the overall ad tech ecosystem.
  • Ability to thrive in a heavily cross-functional environment and drive projects to completion regardless of the organizational structure.
  • Passion for building scalable and extensible solutions that enable others and ensure a high-quality product.
  • Experience launching consumer facing products and iterating through data-driven experimentation.
  • Strong technical foundation in backend engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
  • Establish the technical vision and strategic direction for Lyft Media.
  • Effectively communicate this vision across all levels, including team members, peers, and executive leadership (ELT).
  • Manage, mentor and support a team of managers and engineers, fostering their professional and technical growth.
  • Partner with various stakeholders to drive initiatives that deliver significant business impact.
  • Collaborate closely with the Lyft recruiting team to attract and hire top talent from diverse backgrounds.

The platform offers various ride options, including standard, luxury, and shared rides, catering to different customer preferences.
