Responsibilities
  • Serve as the go-to expert for escalated benefit inquiries and issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Work closely with People Operations, Payroll, Finance, HR Systems, Legal, and third-party vendors to ensure employees have access to comprehensive and well-managed benefits.
  • Partner with the Global Head of Benefits to design and implement innovative, best-in-class benefit plans that align with OpenAI’s global strategy, culture, and budget. This includes health insurance, retirement plans, time off, leave of absence, wellness programs, and other employee initiatives.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity by conducting proactive audits to detect and correct errors in our systems and processes.
  • Create and execute communication strategies to educate employees about their benefits options, enrollment processes, and optimal utilization of their benefits.
