Requirements
  • Extensive experience in workers' compensation claims- specifically Self-Insurance & Comcare
  • Preferred qualifications and experience in psychology
  • Background in Allied Health, Clinical, supervisory, or workplace-based rehabilitation
  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of workers' compensation laws, with a focus on legislative knowledge and work capacity decisions
  • Proven experience coaching Case Managers, driving decisions, and managing complex claims
  • Strong communication, people skills, and the ability to build a solid network
Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive, expert injury management advice to claims staff and clients
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, procedures, standards, and guidelines, ensuring they align with best industry practices
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements for medical and injury management interventions
  • Contribute to the creation of training materials and policies around injury, treatment, and medical management best practices
  • Boost team performance and elevate the broader business capability through direct training and coaching
