Requirements
  • A bac+5 qualification from an engineering school or university master's program, with a specialization in telecommunications networks.
  • At least three years of professional experience in the design and engineering of wired infrastructure, including fiber and copper.
  • A strong interest in understanding functional needs and knowledge of network-engineering principles.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication.
  • A sense of responsibility and service.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze the capacity of wired networks to address customer needs identified in preliminary studies.
  • Evaluate the availability, reliability, and maintainability of wired architectures in service to reproduce, extend, or evolve globally at least equivalent solutions.
  • Analyze business needs based on general telecommunications architecture documents.
  • Control the consistency and updates of the various databases supporting the wired activity.
  • Conduct capacity studies of existing infrastructures.
  • Identify available resources in asset-management repositories.
  • Reserve the resources required for projects.
  • Determine requirements for extensions or the creation of new infrastructures.
  • Ensure traceability and update technical repositories.
  • Participate in infrastructure obsolescence analysis.
  • Identify risks associated with existing infrastructures.
  • Propose infrastructure evolution and modernization trajectories.
  • Participate in renewal studies for critical infrastructures.
  • Contribute to defining migration and transformation strategies.
  • Contribute to cabling standards and engineering repositories.
  • Define design best practices.
  • Ensure application of wired architecture rules.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and technical arbitration.
  • Provide expertise to project managers and engineering teams.
  • Participate in technical workshops with different business functions.
  • Challenge solutions proposed by integrators and engineering consultancies.
  • Provide advisory support to internal teams.
  • Participate in developing the skills of the team's engineers and architects.
