Qlik has announced expanded trust and governance capabilities for AI centred on data products and operational controls. The company is introducing tools to help teams monitor and govern data products that feed analytics and AI workflows. Key features include Data Product Agent for creating and managing data products using natural language, Qlik Trust Score to evaluate data products across accuracy and timeliness, and data contracts defining operational expectations. The release also adds service-level objectives, anomaly detection and AI-enabled stewardship capabilities. The announcement came at Qlik Connect 2026 in Kissimmee, Florida. CEO Mike Capone stated that as AI moves from answers into decisions, data products require the same accountability as production assets. Qlik is used by 75% of Fortune 500 companies.
Qlik has announced new agentic execution capabilities for data engineering, designed to help teams create and deliver AI-ready data faster. The company introduced declarative pipelines using natural language, an AI Assistant for Talend Studio, real-time routing for agentic processes, and Open Lakehouse Streaming for unified event data. The tools aim to reduce manual pipeline work and help data teams move towards an agent-assisted model. Qlik CEO Mike Capone said data engineering has become critical as AI demand rises, with companies struggling to deliver trusted data rather than imagining use cases. The announcement was made at Qlik Connect 2026 in Florida. Qlik, used by 75% of the Fortune 500, is expanding its platform to support AI workloads whilst maintaining data quality and control.
Qlik and ServiceNow join forces to strengthen ai-driven enterprise workflows. As part of this initiative, Qlik has made a strategic tie-up with ServiceNow to facilitate the inclusion of trusted enterprise context within AI-based workflows that help enterprises make quick decisions. With this tie-up, Qlik intends to narrow the gap that exists between insights obtained from data and workflows through the use of ServiceNow's Workflow Data Fabric and Qlik's analytics, integration, and artificial intelligence offerings. Through this partnership, enterprises will be able to augment their automated workflows and AI agents with context to allow systems to detect patterns, insights, and recommended courses of action. The collaboration would be especially relevant for those organizations seeking to integrate AI on an organizational level through automation since it will allow making automation-based decisions using reliable and enterprise-class data and not limited to certain data pools. As the analytics solution provider, Qlik aims to help automate and speed up decisions made in various areas, such as IT support, customer services, and other operations by bringing analytics closer to operations. This means that contextual AI would become the next step for enterprises.
Qlik has partnered with ServiceNow to integrate trusted enterprise data into AI-powered workflows and decision-making processes. The collaboration combines ServiceNow's Workflow Data Fabric with Qlik's analytics engine to deliver richer context from ERP, CRM, supply chain and other enterprise systems. The partnership introduces Qlik metadata collectors for ServiceNow Data Catalog, improving data discovery, lineage visibility and governance. Qlik's analytics engine will send insights directly into ServiceNow workflows and AI agents, enabling better decision-making through cross-system relationships and operational context. The announcement was made at Qlik Connect 2026 in Florida. Qlik, used by 75% of Fortune 500 companies, aims to help enterprises scale AI responsibly whilst maintaining data governance and control across operations.
Organizations expand use of agentic analytics as Qlik customers bring ai-driven decision workflows into production. Early deployments combine Qlik's analytics engine, curated knowledge, and governed data with transparent AI reasoning to support operational decision-making April 7, 2026 Key takeaways: * New capabilities expand the agentic analytics experience: Qlik recently introduced Discovery Agent, extending its agentic analytics platform and giving organizations new ways to operationalize AI-driven insights across analytics and decision workflows. * Global leaders are putting agentic analytics into practice: Companies including Compass Healthcare, Malmö Redhawks and Bystronic Group are deploying Qlik's agentic analytics capabilities to bring trusted, explainable AI into real business processes. * Open integration brings governed analytics into AI assistants: Through its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, Qlik enables third-party assistants and AI agents to securely access Qlik analytics and governed enterprise data, expanding how teams interact with insights across applications and workflows. Philadelphia, PA - Organizations are beginning to operationalize agentic analytics across real decision workflows with Qlik Answers(R), hosted on Qlik Cloud(R), as the unified conversational interface. Qlik is seeing growing adoption of its agentic analytics capabilities as customers deploy them in production environments, bringing trusted, AI-driven insights directly into everyday business processes. Introduced earlier with the general availability of agentic analytics and the launch of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for third-party assistants, these capabilities enable organizations to combine AI reasoning with governed analytics and curated enterprise knowledge. In March, Qlik expanded these capabilities with the general availability of Discovery Agent. Together, they represent a shift toward AI systems that don't just generate responses, but can analyze trusted data, explain their conclusions and integrate directly into operational workflows. "Organizations are looking for AI that doesn't just provide answers, but that can reason through complex data and clearly display the reasoning," shared Brendan Grady, General Manager, Analytics Business Unit at Qlik. "What we're seeing now is organizations putting agentic analytics into real workflows, connecting AI reasoning with trusted data and governance so teams can confidently act on insights." Customer perspectives. * Max Mosky, SVP, Strategy & Innovation, Compass Healthcare: "The beauty of Qlik Answers is that it makes both our documentation and structured data accessible through a conversational interface. Instead of spending time searching for information or analyzing data, teams can stay focused on driving outcomes for our business." * Andreas Hadelöv, Assistant General Manager, Malmö Redhawks: "In elite sport, there is no shortage of data. The hard part is making it useful in the moment and consistent across the organization. What is promising here is the open way Qlik is connecting analytics to emerging assistants and agents, because that gives teams a realistic way to experiment and evolve without rebuilding everything around one vendor." * Stefan Heinz, Senior BI Analytics Specialist, Bystronic Group: "We saw the potential for Qlik Answers immediately. We easily connected it to SharePoint, and within 15 minutes, we had a chatbot running. People were already impressed with what they saw." These early implementations illustrate how agentic analytics can help teams move from insight to action faster by embedding reasoning-based AI directly into analytics and decision processes. By grounding AI outputs in governed data products and the associative logic of the Qlik Analytics Engine, organizations can maintain transparency, explainability, and consistency with established business logic. As organizations continue to move from AI pilots to production deployments, Qlik is expanding its agentic ecosystem with additional agents focused on areas such as data discovery, data quality, and pipeline monitoring, along with broader integrations through the Model Context Protocol.
