Skyways designs and operates unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to perform on-demand resupply missions. Their drones can take off and land almost anywhere to deliver goods to remote or hazardous locations, serving military operations, remote industrial sites, and emergency response teams. The system works by flying autonomous or semi-autonomous deliveries of essentials such as meals, batteries, and medical equipment, with revenue generated from charging clients for these delivery services. The company differentiates itself by offering cost-efficient, scalable UAV logistics specifically suited for remote and dangerous environments, leveraging electric propulsion and advanced energy storage to enable operations where traditional transport is impractical. Skyways aims to provide timely, safe transport of critical supplies, reducing human risk and expanding access to hard-to-reach areas.

Skyways Secures $37M for Military Drones

Skyways, founded in 2017, received $37 million from the USAF's AFWERX program to develop its V3 drone, which can carry a 100 lb payload, fly over 1,000 miles, and stay airborne for more than 20 hours.
