Job Description
Objective: Seeking a Practice Head for the US education sector, with strong connections at universities, a proven track record in securing new clients, and the ability to leverage our technical and consulting capabilities. The role also involves working with the education practice team to refine and develop solution offerings in the education space.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Work closely with the education practice team and geo sales to:
- Identify and target appropriate prospects in the education sector.
- Set appointments, conduct effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle through to closure.
- Prepare accurate and professional reports, proposals, presentations, and documentation for executive-level engagements.
- Achieve sales targets by understanding client needs and following a structured selling process, including negotiating legal agreements, utilizing product demos, and closing deals.
- Account growth responsibility:
- Collaborate with existing educational clients to ensure account expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, positioning Nagarro as a trusted partner.
- Seek client testimonials and references to enhance reputation.
Client Engagement & Delivery Excellence:
- Collaborate with the Delivery Manager to:
- Address and resolve any delivery-related issues (progress, cost, budgets).
- Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded by capturing and delivering on the client’s vision.
- Identify innovative opportunities for Nagarro to consult on and create strategic breakthroughs for clients.
- Proactively seek and implement service improvements to increase client satisfaction.
Contractual & Financial Management:
- Manage contractual, financial, and legal aspects of client engagements, including:
- Invoicing, accounts receivable, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and contract renewals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in the education sector, ideally in leadership, sales, or business development roles.
- Proven track record of winning new business and building strong relationships within the education sector, specifically with universities and higher education institutions.
- Demonstrated experience in consulting and technical services for educational organizations.
- Experience in managing complex client relationships and ensuring delivery excellence across engagements.
- Familiarity with the education technology landscape and emerging trends in the sector.
