The Finance Operations Director will oversee order-to-cash activities and processes and provide support for other financial functions. The role involves leveraging technology to optimize collections, billing and related activities. Additional responsibilities include systems design, process improvement, internal controls and reporting. This role will work closely with other departments such as accounting, technology and sales operations to align financial operations with overall business objectives. Additionally, this role will lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the smooth functioning of finance operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Manage the teams responsible for billing, collections and receivable operations.
• Partner with external and internal partners on transformational activities with a focus on order-to-cash operations
• Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures and best practices to standardize billing and collections operations.
• Assess current practices and implement improvements to ensure effective internal controls.
• Maintain the financial systems roadmap, including status update reporting and backlog.
• Recommend solutions to leverage new and existing technology to drive efficiency and automation; lead cross functional teams on implementation.
• Maintain the process and system flowcharts to provide beginning to end visibility of core processes.
• Own the tracking, reporting, and visualization of CFO organization metrics.
WHAT IS REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or information systems
• Experience with Netsuite administration.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience
• Proficient in Excel, data management, and BI solutions
• Experience building, improving, and running scalable processes and systems.
• Strong communication, project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Netsuite administration.
• Maintain working knowledge of industry, market, and competitive landscape.
