Glean builds an AI-powered search and knowledge assistant that helps employees find information across all of a company’s apps and data. Its core product is an enterprise search tool that understands natural language queries and retrieves relevant results from documents, conversations, tickets, and other sources, plus a chat assistant that can summarize and answer questions using that same information. The system uses deep learning language models that adapt to a company’s own terminology and context, improving relevance without manual tuning, and it offers hosting options to align with security and data policies. Compared with competitors, Glean focuses on cross-application search, organization-specific language learning, and a combined search-and-chat experience that delivers direct answers and summaries from internal knowledge sources. Its goal is to help teams work faster by turning scattered information into easily accessible answers, reducing time spent searching.

Through the partnership, Mantel will bring Glean's Work AI platform to customers across key industries, including financial services, energy and utilities, and the public sector. Mantel will provide advisory, deployment, scaling, and ongoing operational support to help joint customers connect AI to the systems, knowledge, and workflows where work already happens. Zubin Irani, VP of Partnerships at Glean As enterprises move beyond early AI pilots, many are looking for practical ways to turn existing investments in cloud, data and productivity platforms into measurable business outcomes. Together, Mantel and Glean will help customers deploy AI assistants and agents that are grounded in enterprise context, respect existing permissions, and operate securely across complex technology environments. The Mantel team is also using Glean internally, connecting knowledge from documents, code repositories, and ticketing systems. This internal use gives Mantel deep, hands-on experience with Glean and a foundation for repeatable AI agents, workflows, and solutions for clients. Mantel has been selected as a strategic partner for Glean in ANZ, with a joint focus on large enterprise customers and sectors where Mantel has deep practices across Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Google Cloud, and other core enterprise platforms. "Our customers are asking how to turn AI potential into practical business results on top of the data platforms and cloud foundations they have already invested in," said Emma Bromet, Partner - Data & AI at Mantel. "Glean gives us a secure, enterprise-ready Work AI layer that can sit across Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Google Cloud and the rest of the application landscape, so knowledge workers can ask questions in natural language, discover how we do things here, and automate workflows with confidence. By adopting Glean ourselves and building agents for our practices, we can take a very pragmatic story to market with our clients." "Enterprises are ready to move beyond AI pilots, but getting to production takes the right platform and the right implementation partner," said Zubin Irani, VP of Partnerships at Glean. "Mantel brings deep data, AI, and cloud expertise, and together we can help organizations across Australia and New Zealand deploy Work AI securely, quickly, and with measurable business impact." Securing AI as Enterprises move beyond experimentation. Glean's Sunil Agrawal and Palo Alto's Michael Sikorski on AI Deployment Risks Tom Field (SecurityEditor) - March 27, 2026 Enterprises moving from artificial intelligence experimentation to broad deployment face a familiar and preventable failure: treating security as an afterthought. As AI agents proliferate across business workflows, gaps in identity management, data governance and runtime monitoring are creating new attack surfaces, attackers are exploiting them. "There's a whole new slew of attack vectors that are coming up: prompt injection, jailbreaking, data poisoning. All those terms didn't exist before generative AI," said Sunil Agrawal, CISO at Glean. "People moved to the cloud. They didn't think through security in the right way. And then it became really difficult and challenging, and we're still dealing with that. And now, all of a sudden, AI is on top of it," said Michael Sikorski, CTO and vice president of engineering at Palo Alto Network's Unit 42. In this video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSAC Conference 2026, Agrawal and Sikorski also discussed: * Why identity management and declared guardrails are foundational to safe agent deployment; * How the Glean and Palo Alto Networks integration enforces least-privilege data access, runtime security and incident response readiness; * Resources for security threat modeling, including the AWARE framework and Unit 42's latest incident response report. Agrawal is responsible for the overall security of Glean's products, infrastructure and corporate environment. With more than 20 years of experience, he has held security leadership roles at Bolt, Nutanix, Netflix and Adobe. Sikorski leads the engineering, product and threat intelligence teams at Palo Alto Networks' Unit 42. He has more than 25 years of cybersecurity experience, most of which involved responding to high-profile incidents and leading high-performing teams.

Aryn, an AI startup focused on helping enterprises answer questions from unstructured data, has been acquired by Glean. The company was founded before ChatGPT's launch and worked to apply AI to enterprise data challenges. Aryn's CEO cited alignment with Glean's mission to enable extraordinary work and the opportunity to accelerate impact as reasons for the acquisition. The company thanked customers including Novacore and DataRobot, and investors Factory, 8VC, Amarjit Gill and Lip-Bu Tan. Aryn will sunset its cloud service on 15 April 2026, though its Sycamore open source project will remain available under Apache License v2.0. The team is joining Glean to work on a larger mission whilst maintaining their core focus on enterprise data solutions.
Glean has announced the latest version of its AI Assistant, an enterprise AI platform designed to enhance workplace productivity. The company unveiled features including real-time voice interaction, on-brand slide generation, agent sandboxes for data analysis, and over 100 enterprise actions across applications like Salesforce, Jira and GitHub. The AI Assistant uses company data and employee context to help workers move from insight to execution. Users can now view and control their personal graph insights, which draw from emails, documents and searches. New agent templates help employees organise tasks and summarise accomplishments. Swiggy's CTO reports the platform saves nearly two hours per employee daily. Features like image generation and task management are generally available, whilst slide generation and real-time voice remain in beta.
