Requirements
  • Experience or knowledge of localization workflows, with emphasis on subtitling for media and entertainment distribution channels.
  • Technical knowledge and excellent command of Microsoft Windows systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and multitask.
Responsibilities
  • Perform regular quality-control checks on various file types.
  • Check that language subtitles conform to Deluxe guidelines and client requirements.
  • Verify subtitle timing, formatting, and language guidelines.
  • Review client and project documents to identify errors and deliver a final consistent product.
  • Maintain an average quality record of 99.7% throughout the year for all clients.
  • Ensure 100% on-time delivery for all clients.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to department-specific schedules and standard operating procedures.
  • Audit and mentor new joiners as required.

Deluxe Media, one of the world's leading providers of subtitling, dubbing, localization, and fulfillment services, has formed a strategic partnership with Tokyo based Tohokushinsha Film Corporation, a comprehensive creative production company offering a wide range of services including subtitling, dubbing, audio, and video production. The collaboration expands the companies' localization capabilities across the Asia Pacific region to help meet growing global demand for high-quality localized content. Under the non-exclusive agreement, Deluxe's long-standing relationships with the world's leading studios and streaming platforms, global scale and technology-driven localization workflows will combine with TFC's extensive in-market expertise and creative excellence. Together, the two companies aim to bolster localization capacity to meet the rising demand for high-quality localized content across the APAC region and worldwide. As part of the partnership, Deluxe has established its new Japan office within TFC's Tokyo facilities.
